Last week I went over Traditional, Minimalist, and Modern Farmhouse Here

Lets go over a couple more-Coastal, Bohemian, and Industrial.

Coastal Interior Design

The key to remember when styling for the coastal cottage design is, just like the beach, nothing should be overwhelming. Colors should be a mixture of neutrals and pops of color, like pairing sand with seafoam. Layering similar colors and shades is the perfect way to add dimension to a space without going overboard. Add touches of style with rope, driftwood, or shells to perfect the look.

Bohemian Interior Design

The bohemian style, named for those nomadic artists, intended to overturn beauty standards by tossing out the rules and embracing the unconventional. There are some common practices that are a great starting point to inspire those boho vibes though it is mainly known for lack of structure. Some of these characteristics include natural colors like tan and white, metal light fixtures made with gold silver or brass, and original or handmade pieces of art. Furniture is often natural unfinished wood, Rattan, or wicker, with lots of pillows. To achieve this look-layer eclectic patterns, use different types of lighting, and saturate jewel tone colors.

Industrial Interior Design

The design takes inspiration from the industrial revolution as the style itself was bred from empty factories. Some common textures include brick, concrete, iron, and steel. The main colors are white, grey and black. Occasionally spaces will even embrace the piping and ductwork. They usually have an open floorplan and uncluttered decor. Some easy artwork could include vintage black and white photos, abstract art, and plants.
