For brevity’s sake, I will go over 3 of them.
Traditional Interior Design
One of the most well-known styles is traditional interior design. Traditional interiors use dark wood furniture that is ornately detailed. Upholstery and window treatments are often made with expensive textiles like silk, velvet, and linen. A few popular fabric patterns include; damask, florals, stripes, and plaids, for example. Occasionally there will be a touch of glam with a crystal chandelier or glass candle stick holders.
Modern Farmhouse Interior Design
Think Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper. White shiplap and sliding barn doors are very common. Modern farmhouse interiors have many characteristics of traditional farmhouse design. However the modern twist is a bit more simplified and clean. Modern updates like wide plank floors, open concept living, and sleek lighting are a few common identifiers of the modern farmhouse decorating style.
Minimalist Interior Design
Minimalist is exactly what the name sounds like. It contains simple finishes, clean lines, and concentrates on the principle that less is more. Minimalist design uses empty space to define their interiors. It often uses contemporary design features.
